Users will be notified when they are assigned an alert or an assigned alert is updated or commented on. Notifications will appear in the top right corner of the Smart Alerts interface (shown above). Clicking the notification icon or the Notifications tab will launch the notification center.
Updates and notifications are grouped by date. They can be cleared individually or by date by clicking the checkbox, followed by the Clear button that appears above the notifications list. All notifications can be removed using the Clear All button.
Email notifications are initiated when an alert is assigned to a user by another administrator, by the Notify & Assign trigger action, or when an assigned alert is updated. Users must also have "receive email notifications" enabled under the Preferences tab.
Screenshots of Explicit alerts are blurred in notification emails, but can be excluded from email notifications by disabling "Include screenshots in email" under the Preferences tab.
