Sync Fleet and Google Admin Console
Each evening, Fleet will automatically synchronize your device data in Google Admin console with Fleet, but you can use Force Sync to sync immediately.
Table of Contents
Force Sync ensures that device information in Fleet and Google Admin console are in parity.
If you have made changes to Custom Fields in Fleet, or device information in the Google Admin console, you can use the Force Sync button to update both Fleet and Google Admin console. To prevent conflicts during each day's automatic synchronization, Force Sync is unavailable if Google Admin console and Fleet are already trying to synchronize.
Fleet updates Custom Field information in Google Admin console, and Google Admin console updates device information in Fleet. In the table below, the Flow of Information arrow indicates whether Fleet updates the Google Admin console, or whether Google Admin console updates Fleet.
For example, if the User field in Fleet and Google Admin console are different, the User information in Fleet will overwrite the User information in Google Admin console. Similarly, if Fleet and the Google Admin console have different information for the Last sync field, then the Last Sync date in Google Admin console will overwrite the Last Sync date in Fleet.
