This checklist reviews important configurations for Super Users to address in Org Management during deployment and while expanding GoGuardian to additional students / buildings. Please customize to your needs; some settings may not be applicable for your organization.
☐ Verify extension deployment. View verification steps here.
- Verify that both the GoGuardian and GoGuardian License extensions are present and enabled.
Organizational Units (OUs)
☐ Import or sync OUs from Google Admin Console. View steps to import/sync here.
☐ Sync OUs from Active Directory. View steps to sync here.
Org Management > Integrations > Audit Log
☐ Ensure desired integrations are syncing successfully or troubleshoot using the audit log. View Clever and ClassLink integration FAQs.
Org Management > User Management
☐ Add or update users in the User Management table. To bulk add users by CSV, view the steps here.
☐ Configure individual user permissions and OU access. View steps here.
☐ If syncing users via Clever or ClassLink, send welcome email to those users alerting them of their GoGuardian account. View sample email.

Products > General
☐ For assistance deploying to non-Chromebook devices, contact your account representative.
☐ Enable Out-of-School Mode and set your in-school hours / IP range to apply different GoGuardian Admin filtering policies during school hours and out of school hours. Learn more.
- Note: Out of school hours are also applicable to the GoGuardian Parent mobile app
☐ Enable Privacy feature (Beta). Reach out to your account representative to enable an indicator in the student browser to show when any GoGuardian product is active on the student device.
